Tamarin: Thanks Lily,
I think you have just given me some good advice and considering he has had to pay for a return airfare and arrange to stay with his family maybe I am being a bit unfair. The chemistry is certainly there when we have chatted and when I mentioned to him about going online he assured me it was just to chat to friends etc. I use to think these sites were a waste of time and never dreamt this would happen.
Thanks again
Awww, I don't think you are being unfair at all. I think its only natural and wise to have a certain amount of concerns when you are getting to know someone. Trust is something that grows with you. To start with, it's finding a balance, not too little and not too much.
Try and keep an open mind over the chemistry between you, online. Like Karen said, It's not always the same in reality. The chemistry for me worked out completely the other way around. The guy I met here started out as a friend. He was a great mate but, I wasn't attracted to him or his personality. In fact, I thought he was a gobby, cocky northern git

BUT, then when we met for the first time at a CS meet up, I couldn't believe how wrong I had got him. (Yeah I know, me, wrong, can you believe it)
This guy certainly seems keen on you, the lengths he is going to, to meet you. I wish you both good luck, and please let know how it goes
