I would like to ask are you a single dad with access or do your children live with you?

Thats irrelevant really!! but i am curious!!
I wanted to say i personally am a single mum of 3 and have come to the point in my life where i would only dad men with children as they have a better understanding than most men of what my life is like!

you will of course understand this laugh the only trouble is i have found men with children no offence who are 100 0/0 wrapped up in their own to give a damm about anyone elses! and if they dont have chidren of their own are either useless! or want their own!! arghh so very tough world of dating when children involved!

trust me tho embrace that you have them, don't think of them as burdens in your life but what enchances it and makes you who you are applause

diogenes: I once heard a relationship expert say that living with someone without being married could be detrimental tot he relationship for this reason...

When a couple is not married there is no sense of permanence, either party is free to leave at any time. If the couple lives together for a while, and then gets married, then they tend to carry that feeling of impermanence with them into their marriage.

Personally, I feel like courts should make a divorce more difficult to obtain, and sort of force couples to take a look at themselves and how to work on staying together. Broken familes make broken children, and broken children grow up to make broken families.

You obviously haven't been married? make it harder to get divorced???? what a joke! anyone who has ever gotten divorced like myself would have only done so after alot of thought and for very good reasons!!

I personally do feel marriage is a stronger committment than just living together especially if there are children involved!

But having said that i would not be in any hurry to get married again, but never say never i would say... If it's important then get married at the end of the day you can always get out of it!!

I personally think a man in an nice fitted suit always looks "hot" the James Bond look...yum!! but unless a man has a high flying job and a wardrobe full of suits that sight is not going to be a regular!
so i think a butt hugging pair of jeans and a fitted t shirt is equally as sexy still shows exactly what is underneath wow! dancing banana

If the "spark " or "sexual desire" that you feel when you are with someone is still as strong as the day you met, but it was the other relationship stuff like bad communication that caused the break up can you really be "just friends" even when you still feel the "spark" or "sexual desire"? smitten

jampet: i suppose it depends how many people you are falling in love with- if it is every person you date, then you are probably not really in love with them, more with the idea that you have to fall in love with everyone you are with? Also- if you really love someone, then it shouldn't fall apart after 6 months- sure it doesn't always work ut happy ever after, but along the way, surely ONE of those relationships should at least last more than 6 months, if it is true love

I couldn't have said it better myself!dancing banana applause

Do you think people spend too much time on line? in a virtual world? making friends with strangers instead of real people face to face, and due to that do you think there relationships suffer?

why do people attract the same type?
In my case they are all lairs/cheats in a new relationship i try and give it 100% and not use past relationship experiences against the new one but i think if you have been hurt you cannnot help that!
so why do we keep doing it? going for the same people who will only end up hurting us or letting us down just like we knew they would!!

mrsmiles4444: can't say I agree with you there, as for people only seeing what they want to see. if he continues to spend time with her when she wants. is he not sending the wrong signal? has he turned her down to be with her, or is he really enjoying his time with her, and gifts?
Or even maybe even the love making?

things that make you go hhmmmmmmm!

On that note i think you are sooo right i bet he has no problem with having sex with her it's just the honesty he can not do... typical man i say take, take, take.

fireliter: An opposing view

6 weeks to fall in love? 12 weeks to fall in love, 6 months, 12 months?

question is is the thrill gone for you with this woman, or is it simply the "gift giving" trait she has that brings about your decision to chill or end it.

I can think of other characteristic of a woman that are annoying

but if it a matter of the thrill /attraction is gone cut her loose.

Well at last someone seeing things from my perspective! why is it her falling in love or the gifts that is sooooo bad?

has she actually said she loves you? and what did you reply? because that would have been a good coversation to have then :]

I think firelighter is right you just don't want the committment anymore or don't fancy her???

well i have an idea matey stop talking about the dilema stop taking the piss out of her and talk to her i think the word is honesty... also matey i think you seem to take a bit too much this girl is obviously generous and kind her personality is giving so well matey she too good for u plenty of others would love to be spoilt. so whats the problem no dilema as i see it.
